LV Power Center type switchboards

CONSTRUCTION FEATURE:

  • The switchboards are made with stiff bent metal sheet with a thickness of 20/10mm.
  • Switchboards roof is equipped with eyebolt-lifters, eventual aeration roof and flanges for cable entry / exit
  • The bottom is also made with bent metal sheet with an opening for entry / exit of the cables
  • Front panel doors are made with bent metal sheet with thickness of 20/10mm, these panel doors are hinged with screw lock (key lock on request)
  • Lateral and rear panels are made of bent metal sheet with a thickness of 15/10mm, the panels are fixed with screws, but they can be also removable

DETAILS:
  • The metal sheet is worked with degreasing, phosphating, passivation and drying processes, in the end it is RAL7030-RAL 7035 gray painted with epoxy painting powder polymerized in oven at 180 C (about 356F)

  • On the external case IP30 (other ones on request)
  • Open front doors IP20

SEPARATIONS TYPOLOGY   ( IEC 17-13/1   IEC-EN 60439-1 ):
  • Typology 1 - No separation between busbars and functional units
  • Typology 2a - Separation of busbars from functional units, external conductors terminals not separated from busbars
  • Typology 2b - Separation of busbars from the functional units, external conductors terminals separated from busbars.
  • Typology 3a - Separation of busbars from the functional units and separation of all function units from each other. Separation of external conductors connection terminals from the functional units, but not from each other. External conductors terminals not separated from busbars.
  • Typology 3b - Separation of busbars from the functional units and separation of all function units from each other. Separation of external conductors connection terminals from the functional units, but not from each other. External conductors terminals separated from busbars.
  • Typology 4a - Separation of busbars from the functional units and separation of all function units from each other, including external conductors terminal which are an integral part of the functional unit. External conductors terminals in the same compartment of the associated functional unit.
  • Typology 4b - Separation of busbars from the functional units and separation of all function units from each other, including external conductors terminal which are an integral part of the functional unit. External conductors terminals not in the same compartment of the associated functional unit, but in protected compartments with cover or single and separated cells
 
WIRING AND BUSBARS
  • The wiring is made with type N07 VK or N1VVK fire-resistant cables , these cables have an appropriate section and they are supplied with cableterminals and identification numbers
  • PVC logline for cables, flexible-case,elastic wraps, interlocking clips, mark-cables rings and accessories, all in fire-resistant material
  • The busbars are made of electrolytic copper with rounded edges, they have an appropriate section to have many options in sizing origin points, on request the busbars can be cadmium-plated.
  • Busbar supports are made of polyester resin reinforced with fiberglass, they are made to be resistant to electrodynamic stress due to eventual short-circuit currents.

CERTIFICATION:
 
All EMA LV switchboards come with a certification after tests in the following accredited laboratories
